Charlie Sheen: "Just one more time" can become your Last Time

TMZ released this video today, showing an apparently buzzed Charlie Sheen leaving the Hollywood Palladium, after a Guns N’ Roses concert. No one can really prove if Charlie was on drugs or drunk, because to say for sure would mean we would need a drug test.

But assuming Charlie may entertain the idea that it’s okay to party “just one more time” for old time’s sake, here one thing he should keep in mind. Relapse has killed more people than first-time use. The reason for this is that the obsession of the mind, when it comes to drug addiction, is a psychological dialogue far apart from reality.

This is why we learn to think differently if we want sobriety. Instead of thinking “just one more time and then I’ll stop” we think “do I really need this?” – “Is this going to be good for me and do I rally want to feel that way again?”

We try to have a reasonable dialogue with ourselves, which helps us find what is real and stick with it. Otherwise, the obsession of addictive dialogue talks us into taking something “just once more.”

For many Hollywood celebrities, who are no longer here to speak for themselves, “just once more” has ended their life.
