We think we have our life back in control after we get treatment from professionals. Rehabs and sober living can do a lot for us in early sobriety. But when those places are gone and we have a little time in recovery, we tend to forget that the work is now ours to do. Rehab is not just there so we can get the publicity we need to get people back on our side. Rehab means we have crossed the line and we are in trouble, that we have to look at reality and that means we can not use drugs again. We have to change if we want to live.
